- โนโวเซเว่น ใช้สำหรับรักษาภาวะเลือดออกและป้องกันการเสียเลือดจากการผ่าตัดหรือหัตถการที่มีความเสี่ยงต่อการเสียเลือดในผู้ป่วยต่อไปนี้ -ผู้ป่วยฮีโมฟิเลียที่เป็นมาโดยกำเนิด (congenital haemophilia) ที่มีสารต่อต้าน (Inhibitors) ต่อ coagulation factors VIII หรือ IX มากกว่า 5 Bethesda Units (BU) -ผู้ป่วยฮีโมฟิเลียที่เป็นมาโดยกำเนิด (congenital haemophilia) ที่ทราบว่าจะมีการสร้างสารต่อต้านใน ระดับสูง (high anamnestic response) จากการให้ factor VIII หรือ factor IX -ผู้ป่วยฮีโมพิเลียที่เกิดขึ้นภายหลัง (acquired haemophilia) -ผู้ป่วยที่ขาด factors VII โดยกำเนิด -ผู้ป่วย Glanzmann's thrombasthenia ที่มีประวัติหรือกำลังอยู่ในภาวะไม่ตอบสนองต่อการให้เกล็ด เลือด หรือในกรณีที่ไม่สามารถหาเกล็ดเลือดให้ผู้ป่วยได้ ภาวะตกเลือดหลังคลอดอย่างรุนแรง โนโวเซเว่น มีข้อบ่งใช้สำหรับการรักษาภาวะตกเลือดหลังคลอดอย่างรุนแรงที่ไม่สามารถหยุดเลือดได้ดีพอด้วยยาเพิ่มการหดรัดตัวของมดลูก (uterotonics)
