- 1.ความดันโลหิตสูง (Hypertension) จากการศึกษาหลายฉบับ แสดงให้เห็นว่าการให้ยา Amlodipine, วันละ 1 ครั้ง จะมีประสิทธิภาพต่อผู้ป่วยที่มีภาวะความดันโลหิตสูงเล็กน้อยถึงปานกลาง หลังจากติดตาม, วัดผลความดันโลหิตขณะเคลื่อนที่ (ambulatiry blood pressure) พบว่า Amlodipine สามารถลดความดัน, โลหิตได้ตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง, 2.Chronic Stable angina การให้ยา Amlodipine จะช่วยลดอาการ Chronic Atable angina ได้ อาจใช้ยา, นี้ร่วมกับยา antianginal ตัวอื่นๆ ก็ได้, 3.Vasospastic angina การให้ยา Amlodipine จะช่วยลดอาการ Vasospastic angina ได้, (หมายเหตุ : การให้ยา Amlodipine แก่ผู้ป่วยที่มีภาวะดังกล่าวข้างต้น สามารถให้เป็นยาเดี่ยว (monotherapy), หรือให้ร่วมกับยาอื่นได้)
