Mavenclad is indicated as a single disease modifying therapy for the treatment of adult patients with highly active relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (MS) as defined by clinical or imaging features. Mavenclad is generally recommend in MS patients who have had an inadequate response to, or are unable to tolerate, one or more therapies for multiple sclerosis. Following completion of the 2 treatment courses, no further cladribine treatment is required in years 3 and 4. Re-initiation of the therapy after year 4 has not been studied.
